A Message from Cherie

We are three days away from an awakening of God’s presence within us and the beginning of a renewed hope for many.  For an awakening to happen we have to be willing to seek God out. To open our ears to hear His voice. To open our hearts to receive His word.

“Sow for yourselves righteousness; Reap in mercy; Break up your fallow ground, For it is time to seek the Lord, Till He comes and rains righteousness on you.”  Hosea 9:1

We have to be willing to break up the fallow ground in order to receive all that God wants to speak to us this year.

Come ready! Come ready to let your guards down.

Come ready! Come ready to be vulnerable in His mighty presence!

Come ready! Come ready to lay down pride, self preservation, and everything else that hinders you from stepping into what God wants to do! He has prepared His Mercy Seat for You!

It’s time for us to put Satan on notice. You are no longer going to walk in the strongholds or chains that have bound you! You are going to break free and reap ALL that God has for you!! And you are going to walk away changed!

This time is for you! Though you may question Him, God is giving you the strength to reach out and take hold of His Cross!

Lord, I pray every woman that comes to conference will sow righteousness and reap mercy. May she break up the fallow ground of her heart, for it is time seek You!

See you in 3 days!

What Is A Stronghold?

The Apostle Paul explains it this way in 2 Corinthians 10:5,   “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;”  {KJV}

Every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God is a Stronghold!

It’s anything that exalts itself to be bigger or more powerful than our God. For example, my daughters seizures and the cerebral palsy. For years, both have seemed so much bigger to me than God. I’m just being honest with you.  I could not move forward in my Faith that God would heal her because in my mind, her disabilities were bigger/more powerful than God to me!

This stronghold stole my focus and overpowered me. It disabled my faith!

“I have battled for years not knowing  that I was dealing with a stronghold!”

Your stronghold could be an addiction to food, withholding forgiveness to someone who has hurt you, not stepping out in faith to achieve a goal or dream, or even something negative that “could be” but has yet to happen.

Every stronghold is designed to strangle us. To keep us from walking in Faith that God is in control of all things and Can Do All Things!

Is there something in your life that seems bigger than God? What is consuming your emotional and mental energy? If you can say something is, you will know if you have a stronghold.

Praying for all of us!!

Leading From Holiness Study

Leaders are called to be an outward reflection of an inward glory. As this is on my heart continually God has been nudging me to do something. Have you felt His nudges before? Then you know right where I am.

He has asked me to share with our leaders lessons I have learned/learning in my years of leading women’s ministries.

As leaders we are called to pastor the women God has given us to influence. You may not realize this or even think you are however, this does not change the fact that you are called to do this.

Take a look at our scripture {Colossians 3: 12-14}. We are Gods chosen people, holy and dearly loved…..

Out of this nudging God is flowing a series called “Leading From Holiness”.

He Is The Christ!

It’s hard to believe we are 6 days away from Christmas.

As Christmas approaches, I cannot help but meditate on the names of God.

The meanings bring Life. Peace. Joy. Comfort. Strength. Forgiveness. Salvation.

Below is a very small portion of the names of our Savior that have stood out to me over the years and still do today.

He is our Bread Of Life ~ “And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.”  John 6:35

He is called Servant~ “Behold! My Servant whom I uphold, My Elect One in whom My soul delights! I have put My Spirit upon Him; He will bring forth justice to the Gentiles.” Isaiah 42:1

He is our Advocate~ “My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.” 1 John 2:1

He is the Chief Cornerstone ~” having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone,” Ephesians 2:20

He is our Chief Shepherd ~ “and when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that does not fade away.” 1 Peter 5:4

He is our ROCK ~ “He is the Rock, His work is perfect; For all His ways are justice, A God of truth and without injustice; Righteous and upright is He.”  Deuteronomy 32:4

He is the Author and Finisher of our Faith~” looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:2

He is the Seed Of Abraham~ “Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He does not say, “And to seeds,” as of many, but as of one, “And to your Seed,”who is Christ.” Galations 3:16

He is Christ~ “And Jacob begot Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus who is called Christ.” Matthew 1:16

He is Immanuel ~ “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.” Matthew 1:23

Cherie L. Zack

Cherie has been married to Bill for seventeen years now. They have four children: a daughter, Samantha, who is 23, twin boys, Bobby and Troy, who are 19, their youngest, James, who is 15, and their first granddaughter, Emma Kate. Her life is full and God has used it to teach her many lessons. The family as a whole has been given the greatest gift of all, the understanding of unconditional love through Samantha who was born with cerebral palsy and a seizure disorder. No matter how many mistakes this family makes with Samantha, she loves them with the purest heart and has taught them that love is new every morning. God has definitely used Sam to strengthen the bonds of her family.

Cherie is well aware that her past would be her future if it had not been for God’s intervention in her life and marriage. Desiring the same freedom for others, Cherie’s passion is to challenge and inspire other wives to love their husbands the way God has designed them to. She is very candid about her mistakes and holds nothing back as she speaks to women’s groups here and overseas.

God called Cherie to women’s ministry in 2004. Since that time she has served in a variety of positions. Currently, Cherie ministers through The Imperfect Wives, which she co-founded. In 2010, she was appointed president of the South Carolina AG District Council Women’s Ministry department, where she serves over 90* pastors and women’s ministry groups. Cherie is seeking a bachelor’s degree in psychology with an emphasis in Christian counseling through Liberty University. She is also certified in Biblical Counseling in many areas including marriage, family, women, depression, and addictions, with the American Association of Christian Counselors {AACC}through her courses at Liberty U. Cherie is passionate about her marriage, family and women’s ministry and loves every minute of each!

Cherie’s life verse is Psalm 27:4, “One thing I have desired of the Lord, that will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in His temple.” (NKJV)
